The ending to this game may be downplayed because it wasn’t in such a big game, but it is better than the hook and lateral by Boise State. It is better than the lateral kickoff return in the Cal/Stanford game (though no one can beat “the band is on the field!”

ESPN.com has the video up, and if I can find a youtube video of it, I’ll post it, but the jist of it is this: Trinity (TX) is down 24-22 to Millsaps in a Division III matchup with 2 seconds to go. The short of it is that 15 - yes 15 - laterals later, including a once-bounce lateral on the final toss, Trinity scores the touchdown to win. Amazing.
