Minnesota tries to finish off Northwestern on a two-point conversion in the 2nd overtime, but fails. Northwestern wins 49-48.
Meanwhile, Mississippi can’t quite come back against Alabama, losing 27-24.
Also, Texas finishes of their blowout of Iowa State 56-3.

One overtime isn’t enough for Minnesota and Northwestern as they’re tied at 42 going into a 2nd overtime.
Meanwhile, Ohio defeats Eastern Michigan 48 - 42.
Also, Oklahoma State blows out Nebraska 45-14 to say “not so fast” on the Big 12 north being the better division this year.

Minnesota and Northwestern head to overtime tied at 35 to see who will reside in the cellar on the Big Ten.

Illinois finally impressed enough pollsters to get ranked, then immediately blows it. The Illini throw and interception in the red zone with around a minute left and lose to Iowa 10-6.

Alabama and Mississippi are in a fight right now, tied at 17 in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Meanwhile, time is running out for Illinois, with only a couple minutes left to go in that game.

Illini in trouble? They’re currently down to Iowa 10-6 halfway through the 4th quarter. Meanwhile, Rutgers is ahead of Syracuse, but not by much, leading 24-14 in the middle of the 3rd quarter.
Georgia Tech and Miami are also in a good game with the Yellow Jackets leading 14-7 in the 3rd quarter.
Meanwhile, Buffalo is well on their way to getting their 3rd win of the season, with the Bulls leading Toledo 30-13 in the 2nd quarter.

Is Syracuse only good against good teams? They are currently tied with Rutgers at 14 early in the 2nd quarter. Also in the Big East, South Florida is having no problem with their cross-state rival UCF, leading 19-7.
Michigan also looks like they’re going to continue to roll, leading Purdue 17-7 at the start of the 2nd quarter.
